Scientists and doctors have compiled evidence on the efficiency of face mask wearing to stop COVID-19 transmission. The evidence review is intended for policy makers to better inform the general population on COVID-19 combat strategies. The review provides clarity and advances the use of the “precautionary principle” as a key consideration in developing policy around the use of non-medical masks in public. Please note that is publication is in pre-print and therefore pending scientific peer-review.
