Robert Fullilove, EdD

Dr. Robert E. Fullilove is the Associate Dean for Community and Minority Affairs and Professor of Clinical Sociomedical Sciences at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. He is the current co-director of the Cities Research Group and has been teaching with the Bard Prison Initiative for over ten years.

Kim Hopper, PhD

Dr. Kim Hopper is a medical anthropologist and Professor of Clinical Sociomedical Sciences at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. For the last ten years, he has also taught in the Bard Prison Initiative. His academic interests include the fate of reforms in public mental health, collaborative research, and prospects from reconciliation between ex-patients and their professional caretakers.

Angela Aidala, PhD

Dr. Aidala is an Associate Research Scientist in the Sociomedical Sciences Department at the Mailman School of Public Health. She is the Principal Investigator and Study Director of the Community Health Advisory & Information Network (CHAIN) Project, an ongoing study of persons living with HIV or at high risk of infection in New York City. Dr. Aidala’s sociological research and expertise is expansive including community programs and outreach, urban health, HIV/AIDS, mental health, and homelessness.

Jane Bogart, EdD, MCHES

Dr. Jane Bogart is an experienced Public Health/Health Promotion Professional with a demonstrated history of leading student health and well-being initiatives in Higher Education. Skilled in Program and Policy Implementation, Curriculum Development, Health Communication, Program Evaluation, Prevention, and Educational Leadership.

Michael McNeil, MS, EdD

Dr. McNeil is the Chief of Administration for Columbia Health and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Sociomedical Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health. Prior to his current role he led health promotion offices at three campuses, including Alice! Health Promotion at Columbia University. Additionally, Dr. McNeil has led for the development, implementation, and evaluation of multiple national aware winning health promotion efforts.

Marita Murrman, MS, EdD

Dr. Marita K. Murrman, directs the Certificate in Health Promotion Research and Practice and teaches required courses in theories of health behavior change, community needs and assets assessments, and advanced intervention design. She is also the Associate Director of Education for the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion.
